  • Chan Tui: scaling of scalp ; itch
  • Bai Zhi: tx severe itching++ in Psoriasis
  • Cang Er Zi: widespread itch; not as strong as Bai Zhi
  • Wei Ling Xian: all types of itch but best for sebo-psor; dry blood type
  • Wu Shao She: severe; recalcitrant itch

  • Shu Di/ Sheng Di: used together to nourish Yin & Blood
  • Ji Xue Teng: vnb to nourish Blood & invigorate its flow to skin @ end stages of tx; speeds resolution of hyper/ hypo-pigmentation; tx psoriatic-arthritis
  • Dan Shen: similar & often used w. JXT, though no affect on joints
  • Huang Qi: tonify Qi to nourish Blood; also nb action against Psor.
  • Dang Gui: tonifies and moves Blood; used with Chi Shao
  • He Shou Wu: nourish & moisten skin
  • Tian/ Mai Men Dong: together when Yin Xu evident
  • Huo Ma Ren: moisten skin (combine w. Zhi Ke)
