8
Q

What is exoenzyme S

A

an effector protein that is injected into cells by a Type III secretion system encoded on the chromosome of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Its target protein is a small G protein (Ras), and ADP ribosylation of this protein results in collapse of the cytoskeleton.
