Father’s application granted for his daughters to receive MMR vaccine against their wishes as it was in their best interest o receive it and their objections were unbalanced and naive.
Treasure v McGrath (2006)
Parental responsibility order denied for a father where his relationship with his 10 year-old had broken down and needed to be rebuilt first.
D v H (2004)
15 year old boy seeking contact order for his sibling who had been adopted. Denied because the order sought a parental right which could not be made until 16.
E v E (2004)
14 year old girl seeking contact order for her younger siblings who lived with their mother and step-father. Contact granted for her siblings as this was in their best interest but no contact allowed with the parents.
SAN v KJN (2014)
Mother seeking to extinguish father’s parental rights and responsibilities. Court would not extinguish them however regulated them in accordance with the best interests of the children.
