what materials can be used for preformed crowns?

A

polycarbonate - “directa”, only works w/ cold cure acrylic resin
cellulose acetate - fill w/ protemp
composite - half cured crowns, malleable and moldable, cure once pt bits down to attain occlusion
metal - rarely used now, often inferior results
