How do you quantify protein in a UA?

A
  1. Albumen/Creatinine Ratio (ACR)
    * preferably done first thing in morning to avoid false positive
  2. 24 hour urine collection
  • Types of protein (Albumen, etc.)
  • Provides samples that can be electrophoresed
  • Creatinine (Cr) clearance
