what are Structural proteins ?

A

provide support – fibrous proteins (eg collagen and elastin in connective tissue; keratin in claws, horns, beaks, nails, hooves and feathers) – globular proteins (eg actin and tubulin) – membrane proteins embedded in the lipid bilayer.
