Biological catalysts made by all living cells.
what is a Catalyst?
Something that speeds up a chemical reaction without being changed itself.

the part of the enzyme that binds to the substrate.

“fits together” E.g. the active site is complementary to the substrate.

the molecule at the start of the reaction.

the term used when the enzyme has bonded to the substrate.

when an enzyme change shape and the rate of reaction decreases.
