What are the types of global speed protection?
A
Automatic Speed Protection in V/S or FPA in CLB or DESCENT (this adjusts V/S when speed limits are reached)
Automatic SPEED mode protection. When not following the FDs, the auto thrust reverts to speed mode which will cause the thrust to either increase or decrease to stabilise speed

In normal law, rotation mode commands what?
A
Pitch rate demand providing tail strike protection
4

Flare mode activates when?
A
At 100ft RA. The THS becomes frozen and acts as a direct stick-to-elevator law without auto trim. For this reason, you get a noticeable nose drop when thrust levers are closed for landing
