Tenancy for Commercial Leases
A
When there is a commercial tenant and the lease is for a term of years, when the OG lease expires, a year to year tenancy results. If the LL notifies the T before termination of the tenancy that occupies the tenant that occupancy after the termination will be an increased rent, the tenant will be held to have acquiesced to the new terms if they don’t surrender.
