Property Onboarding

Question 1

In all circumstances, the following is required before we can move a SALTO property to production:

1) The property has purchased a SALTO ProAccess SPACE license with SHIP Integration.
2) We have acquired the username + password to the SALTO software portal that was used to purchase the property’s software license
3) The property has provided a STRATIS property layout as normal.
4) We know if the property has or has not yet programmed doors.

Question 2

Where is SALTO SPACE as used with STRATIS hosted?

We host the ProAccess SPACE software instance on a virtual machine.

Question 3

Before you begin property setup, find out the following information:

1) The host name and port number of the SALTO cloud instance
2) The Ncoder name(s), which need to match exactly with what is set up in SALTO
3) If there are already doors programmed in SALTO or not

Question 4

To use Remote Desktop to log into the SALTO cloud site’s virtual machine, what must you first do?

Configure the SHIP integration in ProAccess SPACE

Question 5

If the SHIP tab isn’t under System->General Options in ProAccess SPACE, what does this mean and what must you do?

Answer 5

The SHIP integration was not purchased with the software license. Escalate this immediately. You will not be able to complete the integration till this is resolved.
