Proof Theorems And Properties Flashcards
SAS
Two sides and the included angle are congruent. Two congruent sides make up and angle.
SSS
All three sides are congruent
HL (right angles only)
The hypotenuse and one of the legs are congruent, make sure to add include that angles are right angles, and then triangles are right triangles by def of right triangles
ASA
Two angles that have a congruent side in the middle of them
AAS
Two angles and a congruent side that is not between tbem
Base angle theorem
If two sides of triangle are congruent then the angles opposite of them are congruent
Converse of base angles theorem
Two angles of a triangle are congruent the the sides opposite of them are congruent
