Subject Pronouns
yo, tu, el, ella, usted, nosotros/as, ellos/ellas/ustedes
Object Preposition Pronouns (act as object of prep - use to replace noun that comes right after a noun)
mi, ti, - the rest are the same
OPP ex: Juan speaks of me
I speak with them
Pablo bought a ring (anillo) for her
Juan habla de mi
Hablo con ellos
Pablo compro’ un anillo para ella
When “mi” and “ti” follow preposition “con”
Conmigo/Contigo
If want to say “with him/her/them/you-all, etc can say two ways: 1) if pronoun refers to subject of sentence, use Consigo; 2) if pronoun does NOT refer to subject, use con + appropriate pronoun
ex: He took the pens with him(self)
They live with him
El llevo’ las plumas consigo
Ellos viven con el
There are six special prepositions that are followed by subject pronouns rather than object pronouns.
between/except/including/except/according to/except
EX:
Entre tú y yo, esta comida es horrible.
Todos beben agua, incluso yo.
Según tú, la chica es bonita
entre/excepto/incluso/menos/según/salvo
