what are the personal pronouns?
i/me, she/her, he/him, they/them, it, we/us, you.
what are the demonstrative pronouns?
that, this, these and those.
what are interrogative pronouns used for and what are they?
used in questions. who, whose, whom, what, which.
what are relative pronouns used for and what are they?
connect relative clauses to independent clauses. that, what which, who, whom.
what are indefinite pronouns used for and what are they?
used to refer generally to a person or thing that doesn’t need to be specifically identified or has already been mentioned. one, other, none, some, anybody, everybody, no one.
what are reflexive pronouns used for and what are they?
forms of personal pronouns that end in -self or -selves.
what are intensive pronouns used for and what are they?
same as reflexive, except they add emphasis to them. If you can remove a pronoun from a sentence and it loses emphasis, but its meaning stays the same, it’s most likely an intensive pronoun.
what are possessive pronouns used for and what are they?
both possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives show ownership.
