what is a ‘cluster’?
a group of consonants with no vowels between them
what are CVC words?
single syllable three-phoneme words that follow the pattern of consonant, vowel, consenant.
what is a verb?
shows an action, occurrence or state of being.
what are the noun forms?
all nouns are singular or plural
what is a singular noun form?
refers to one person, place or thing and requires a singular verb
what is a plural noun form?
refers to more than one person, place or thing, or idea and requires a plural verb
what is a conjunction?
a word used to connect clauses or sentences or to coordinate words in the same clause
what is a preposition?
a type of word that tells us where something is situated in relation to something else, they normally come before a noun, pronoun or phrase.
