When do we use the subject pronouns?
It used as the subject of the verb, which means that it’s the person or thing performing the action.
Ex: He ran home after school
When do we use the object pronouns?
Objects pronouns are those pronouns that receive the action of the sentence.
Ex: Can you help me?
When do we use the possessive pronouns?
Used to indicate ownership
Ex:
- I want the blue shirt back, it’s mine
- This is your problem.
When do we use the reflexive pronouns?
They refer back to a person or a thing. We often use reflexive pronouns when the subject and the object of a verb are the same.
Ex:
- You made this birdhouse yourself
- I taught myself to learn guitar
- One can’t award oneself the prize
- I cut myself while I was making dinner last night.
What is a reflexive pronoun?
It’s an object pronoun ending in self or selves that shows the subject of a sentence is the same as the object of the sentence.
When do we use the preposition at?

When does a prepositon is not needed?
with the words this morning, this afternoon, this evening, (at) this week, this month, this year, (on) every day, every week, last Sonday, next month, next year, next week (in).
