Demonstrate and adapt leadership behaviors to support individual and team needs
- leadership is not authority
- good leaders keep team motivated
- leaders are trustworthy
Tailoring
Tailor based on context - each project is unique
- design project methods based on needs of project
Quality
Meeting acceptance criteria for deliverables
- quality is about satisfying stakeholder expectation
- quality includes performance,
Conformity, reliability, resilience, satisfaction, efficiency, sustainability
Complexity
Outcome of human behavior, system interaction, uncertainty and ambiguity
Risk
Optimize risk reports
- uncertain event or condition that if occurs can have positive or negative effects
- risk response should be based on severity of the risk
adaptability and resiliency
Ability to respond to changing conditions and respond quickly to a setback or failure
- use short feedback loops to adapt quickly
- continuous learning

Change
Prepare those impacted for acceptance to go from current state to intended future state
- resistance from stakeholders is common
- too much change at once can cause contention or resistance
- to remain relevant, you must change
- motivate don’t force
