External resources = Replemisble = when depleted fresh supplies can easily be resourced.
Internal resources = Re-usable = when no longer required these resources are reallocated. eg accom, tools, man power

Allocation, smoothing, leveling, scheduling
Explain Resource allocation?
Mapped against activities.

Managing where and when resources should be moved and used.
Explain Resource Levelling?
Applied when resources constraints. resource Levelling results in work being limited by the stores. results in longer project duration.

ensure that resources are available when needed and where possible are not underutilised.
