A

Al Capone was an Italien Gangster working in America. He was very popular in Chicago (he set up soup kitchens and tipped a lot of money to waiters etc.). He was estimated to have earned $100 million a year.

A

When the depression hit, the government needed the money from alcohol tax. Alcohol would’ve contributed 1/10 of the governments income.
