Q

Crew Incapacitation

A

(2 IN 2 OUT)
1.Take control “I have control”
2. Press the sidestick PB for 40 seconds if needed
3. keep or engage the onside autopilot
4. perform callouts.
-inform ATC of emergency
-call FA as soon as practicable to contain the incapacitated crew member
- Ask FA to see if there may be a Doctor
-Check if there is a typed pilot on board from the company, any ATP pilot.
-Call FA from the call pb
-Fa should come to the cockpit and then
-secure the crewmember with the shoulder harness
-push the seat completely aft
-recline the seat
-Land at the nearest suitable airport
-If unable to remove the crewmember safely, one FA must remain in the cockpit to take care of and observe the incapacitated Crew member.
-consider using CRM to make your life as easy as possible.

(Airborne, initial climb or landing)

A

Airborne, initial climb or landing
THR Levers at TOGA………………………. Set or confirm
AP (if engaged)………………………………. Keep on
SRS orders……………………………………. Follow
*If necessary pull the sidestick fully back
Note:
1.Autopilot disengages if the AOA goes above aprot
2.If FD bars are not displayed pitch +17.5 deg then if necessary, to
prevent a loss in altitude, and increase the pitch attitude.
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR.
CLOSELY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED.

1. Takeoff after V1 (approach and go-around included)

A

Thrust levers……………………………………………….. TOGA
SRS orders…………………………………………………. Follow
*If necessary Sidestick fully back.
*FD bars are not displayed
-pitch 17.5 deg
-if necessary, to prevent a loss in ALT, increase the pitch attitude
*If AP is engaged
-Keep on
*AP disengages if AOA goes above aPROT

Q

Windshear warning (Predictive windshear)
Reactive windshear or windshear detected by flight crew observation
(Before/After V1)

A

Before V1
Captian………………………………………………….. Reject takeoff
After V1
Thrust levers…………………………………………… TOGA
*Flight crew must pay attention to the following
- DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION until the aircraft is out of windshear
SRS Orders……………………………………………… Follow
*Consider pulling fully backstick, if necessary, to minimize height loss
*PM should call to the wind variations from the ND and the V/S and, when clear of the windshear, report the encounter to ATC

Q

Windshear warning (Predictive windshear)
(Approach)

A

“Monitor radar display”
Approach…………………………………………………. Delay
Airport……………………………………………………… Divert
If you continue approach
Weather severity ……………………………………… Assess with radar display
appropriate runway…………………………………… Consider most appropriate
Flaps setting……………………………………………. Select Flaps 3
*for optimum climb gradient capability in case of Go around
EFIS………………………………………………………. Managed Speed
*For the GS mini function
Vapp………………………………………………………. May increase
*max of VLS +15kts
*in very difficult weather conditions A/THR may not be fast enough may have to manually control thrust.
“Go around, Windshear Ahead”
Thrust levers……………………………………………. TOGA
configuration…………………………………………….. can change
*provided the windshear is not entered.
*Full backstick should be applied, if required, to follow SRS, or to minimize the loss of height.

Q

Windshear warning (Predictive windshear)
Reactive windshear or windshear detected by flight crew observation
(Approach)

A

The Reactive windshear fnction detected a windshear.
PF……………………………………………………………. Go around
