SIGNS … ON
SPEED AND THRUST … ADJUST
KEEP AUTOPILOT ON
If excessive thrust variations: disconnect A/THR
DESCENT TO OR BELOW OPT FLIGHT LEVEL … CONSIDER
For Approach: A/THR … ON
USE MANAGED SPEEDS
STALL RECOVERY
NOSE DOWN PITCH CONTROL … APPLY
BANK … WINGS LEVEL
When out of stall:
THRUST … INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
SPEEDBRAKES … CHECK RETRACTED
FLIGHT PATH … RECOVER SMOOTHLY
If in clean configuration and below 20,000ft:
FLAPS 1 … SELECT
STALL WARNING AT LIFTOFF
THRUST … TOGA
PITCH ATTITUDE … 15 Degrees
BANK … WINGS LEVEL
REACTIVE WINDSHEAR
If below V1:
Abort if enough runway
If above V1:
THRUST LEVERS … TOGA
REACHING VR … ROTATE
SRS ORDERS … FOLLOW
Airborne, initial climb, or landing:
THRUST LEVERS AT TOGA … SET OR CONFIRM
AP (if engaged) … KEEP ON
SRS ORDERS … FOLLOW
Do not change config until out of windshear
PREDICTIVE WINDSHEAR
If W/S AHEAD RED:
Delay takeoff or abort takeoff below V1
If Airborne:
THRUST LEVERS … TOGA
AP (if engaged) … KEEP ON
SRS ORDERS … FOLLOW
Landing:
GO AROUND … PERFORM
AP (if engaged) … KEEP ON
If W/S AHEAD AMBER:
Delay and reassess takeoff
Select TOGA thrust
Monitor airspeed and airspeed trend closely
