Whats the difference between legal and ethical?
Legal standards are based on written law, while ethical standards are based on human rights and wrongs. Something can be legal but not ethical.
Define a contract.
A written document or a verbal agreement that is legally binding between two or more parties.
2 parties in a contract:
Person making an offer
Person accepting the contract
What are the requirements of each party when a contract is created?
They must be:
Of sound mind (no mental illnesses that could cloud one’s judgement etc)
Of legal age, or ‘contractual capacity.’ (18)
Legal activities that are being carried out.
The conditions of the contract must be reasonable.
The activities or duties involved in the contract must be physically possible.
What four things provoke a ‘breach in contract?’
