Why is manufacturer not liable for negligence if (1) mfg exercised reasonable care when inspecting slides, (2) slides delivered by standard van, (3) water park managers left slides out in sun for a week, (4) slides burst when a child was using them, (5) child broke arm?

Answer 1

This was not a strict liability suit - the suit is negligence and the mfg exercised reasonable care in the inspection and found no defects, therefore it was not negligent
