A

- Responds with details
- Do RadTag

A
- Enter PU in the label
- “ABC, Traffic is XYZ, report passing FLXXX for clearance”
- Once sep standard has been established provide full IFR clearance

Requirements for IFR Pickup
A
- Not in reciept of clearance when requesting manouvre
- Aircraft will remain in Class E airspace until a clearance can be provided
- Cannt be denied, but there may be a delay
- Pilot initiated

VFR Climb
A
1 - Pilot requests VFR climb
2 - “ABC climb VFR to XYZ”
note: no specific HMI procedure

Requirements for VFR climb
A
- Aircraft is in receipt of a clearance
- VFR portion of flight is wholly contained within class E or D airspace
- A sep standard will exist once the aircraft enters another class of airspace
- Pilot initiated
- Procedure can be denied

VFR on top
A
- Pilot requests “ABC request VFR on top”
- “ABC climb to FL125, report reaching VFR on top, no tops reported”
- Set CFL to FL125 (or highest level in E that you can issue)
- “ABC maintain VFR on top” set CFL to none or “ABC maintain VFR on top below/above/between FLXXX” - set CFL to operating levels
- Enter VT in the label
- Procedure is cancelled when an IFR clearance is issued

Requirements for VFR on top
A
- Aircraft is in receipt or WILL BE in recipt of an IFR clearance
- Aircraft remains IFR until reaching VFR on top. (i.e. you must separate for the climb until the aircraft reports reaching VFR on top.
- After reaching VFR on tpp the aircraft must remain solely in Class E airspace
- Pilot initiated
- This procedure can be denied

A
- Squawk ident and pass details
- ABC identified XYZ YXZ miles south of Managlore, no reported IFR traffic Area QNH, Verify level
- Attach radtag/FDR via squawking
- SIS in label, set CFL

Cancelling SIS
A
ABC, Identification terminated
CFL to none, Remove SIS from label
Inhibit track

STARS
A
- Check ATI and aircraft tracking to determine applicable STAR and transition
- “ABC star clearance available” - unless inbound from HUM (ovens) or MLE (hume)
- “ABC cleared BOYSE 5 A Arrival RWY 16, maintain FLXXX” - YMML
“ABC cleared Polli 9 Arrival WG Transition
- Input STAR as you say it

A
- “All stations inbound to CB, changing to Runway 17, standby for amended ATIS and STAR clearance”
- Direct broadcast - “ABC Cancel Star, new STAR available”
- Remove old runway field
- “ABC recleared Manda 5 arrival, Maintain FLXXX”

- CFL to B000095 and white
- Deviation of there is one
- IQL and C prompt off

Process for VFR penetrator
A
- Try to raise aircraft by using well known landmarks (not IFR waypoints)
- If within 2 minutes of entering issue suggested actions to keep clear
- Get aircraft to squawk ident to confirm correct one
- Notify SM_1 if it looks like it will enter area
