Electrical Power Up
- MM01 - Check
- C/Bs - Check
- N/W STRG - OFF
- HYD PUMPS - OFF
- LDG GEAR Lever - DN
- Flight Spoilers - 0
- Slats/Flaps - Set to actual position
- Radar - Off
- Parking Brake - Set
- ADG Manual Release - Stowed
**11. EMER FLAP - NORMAL **
- Battery Master - ON
- ELECT x 2 (22V) then STAT
- NAV LTS - ON
- If AC AVAIL light illuminated, press the switchlight
***16. If APU is desired:
FFOD: FIRE TEST
(Make sure BATTERY SWITCH on for 30 sec.)
i. APU - START (PDIGS)
ii. AVAIL LIGHT
iii. APU GEN - AUTO***
17. IRS (both, if equipped) - NAV
18. FMS - POS INIT

- L and R PACKs - IN *
- RECIRC FAN - ON, unless

- EMER FLAP - NORMAL *

Pushback

Engine Start
- L or R ENG START switchlight - Press and TIME!
- Verify: L or R ENG START
status msg - Verify:
i. N2 - increasing
ii. Oil Pressure - increasing
iii. ITT - Below 120C - @ 20% N2 Thrust Lever - IDLE
- Verify:
i. Fuel flow increasing
ii. L or R AUTO IGNITION
advisory msg
iii. Light Off - increasing ITT
iv. @ 50% - L or R ENG START
status msg gone
v. L or R AUTO IGNITION
advisory msg gone
vi. MAX ITT 815C
After Start (FO)
- Generators - AUTO
- Fuel Pumps - Set
- Bleed Valves - AUTO,
PACKS - IN,
No L/R PACK OFF status msg - Cowl Anti-Ice - As req’d
- Probes - ON
- Electrics - Checked
After Start (CA)
(WHEN WAVE-OFF RECEIVED
or CHOCKS REMOVED)
- Rudder - Check
- N/W STRG - ARMED
- Call “ After Start Checklist”
Delayed Start
- Boost Pumps - ON
- Engine Start Procedure
- GEN 1(2) - AUTO
- Bleeds and Packs - Set
- Electrics - Checked
After Takeoff
- XFLOW - AUTO
- AFT CARGO - COND AIR
- WSHLD HEAT - LOW
- APU - OFF
- Bleeds - Set
- Thrust reversers - OFF
- EICAS - Checked and cleared
Shutdown (DIFFERENCES)
- Turn off applicable
COWL ANTI-ICE switch
30-60 seconds prior to shutdown * - If ITT rises above 350 C,
motor cycle - 90 sec. 5 min. * - Following left engine shutdown,
AC power for 2 min
for left T2 heater test * - Following right engine shutdown,
BATTERY MASTER ON for 2 min
for right T2 heater test *
After stopping at gate:
Parking Brake - Set
N/W STRG - OFF
“Let them up, shut them down”
Chock Signal:
“FAs door for arrival”
