A
PF:
-Disengage Autopilot
-Disconnect autothrottles
-aggressively appl max thrust
roll wings level & initital pitch to 20°
-retract speedbrakes
-if terrain remains a threat, continue to stick shaker

PM: Assure max thrust, verify all actions have been completed.

PF:

  • Do not change gear or flap configuration until terrain seperation is assured
  • monitor radio altimeter for sustained or increasing terrain seperation
  • when clear of terrain, slowly decrease pitch attitude and accelerate

PM:

  • monitor VS and altitude
