- Cardiac Arrest (VF, Pulseless VT)
- Stable Wide Complex Tachycardia

Procainamide Contraindications?
A
- Pre-existing Prolonged QT Interval
- High degree Heart block
- Hypersensitivity
- Hypotension
- Torsades de Pointes
- Digitalis toxicity

Procainamide Adult Dose?
A
20-50 mg/min slow IV/IO infusion until any one of following occur:
- Dysrhythmia is suppressed
- Hypotension
- QRS widens by > 50%
- Total dose of 17 mg/kg
Maintenance Infusion: 1-4 mg/min

A
15 mg/kg slow IV/IO infusion until any one of following occur:
- Dysrhythmia is suppressed
- Hypotension
- QRS widens by > 50%
