  • Stable Wide Complex Tachycardia

A
  • Bradycardia
  • High degree Heart block
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Hypotension (except in Cardiac Arrest)
  • Cardiogenic shock

Amiodarone Adult Dose?

A
  • VF/VT arrest: 300 mg IVP followed by 150 mg IV/IO in 3-5 minutes
  • Perfusing VT/malignant PVCs: 150 mg in 100 ml NS or D5W over 10 minutes IV drip
  • Maintenance infusion: 1 mg/min for 8 hours, then 0.5 mg/min
  • Do not exceed 2.2 grams per day

A
  • VF/VT arrest: 5 mg/kg (max 300 mg) IV/IO every 3-5 minutes, maximum 15 mg/kg or 450 mg
  • Perfusing VT/malignant PVCs: 5 mg/kg IV/IO over 20-60 minutes
