Identify a local alarm.

Acknowldge and position at 2st due engine’s hydrant and ensure a continuse water supply. Report to side A to back up 1st due engine.
What are the 4th due engine’s responsibilities on a box alarm?
Acknowldge and position at 2nd engine’s water supply. Ensure a continouse water supply, report to side C to back up 2nd due engine.
How many levels of staging are there?
Three
I- 1st due Engine & Truck and 2nd due engine assume positions, all else stage in line of approch.
II- Respond to assgined staging location.
III- Respond to assgined staging location and report to Staging Officer.

What is the primary purpose of the first due Engine on a know basement fire?
Prevent the fire from extending to the 1st floor by taking a position at the steps and, if able, closing the door or use water to cool the heated gases as they leave the basement.
