Researchers divide students into year levels (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors) and then randomly select 50 students from each year level to participate in the survey.
Stratified Sampling
A company wants employee feedback on a new work from home policy. They create a list of all 1,000 employees and use a random number generator to select 100 employees to take the survey.
Simple Random Sampling
A researcher wants to understand shopping behaviors in a mall. They decide to survey every 5th customer entering the mall throughout the day.
Systematic Sampling
A national education survey is conducted to assess teaching effectiveness. Out of all the schools from the country, one of those selected schools participate in the study.
