Paper is taken into the tray. Printing process starts by giving the printer drum a positive charge. As the printer drum rotates a laser beam scans across is removing the positive charge in certain areas. This leaves negatively charged areas which match the text or images to be printed. Printer is coated with positively charged toner. It only sticks to the negatively charged parts of the drum. Negatively charged piece of paper is rolled over the drum. and can be used to high output like in a school.

A file can be downloaded from the internet that is a sketch up of what is being printed. The object is cut up into tiny slices and then built layer by layer. The object could be made up from resin, metal or plastic etc
