Clearing off pathogenic heat for resuscitation or for heat syndromes.
Causes of heat are 1.invasion of yang evil(excess heat)
2. Deficiency of yin

Toxic heat syndrome-clear toxic heat : bl40,pc3,shixuan, ashi/ Bleed

Zang fu organ heat-clear heat: ying spring points, fire points / reduce
When do you use warming method?
Used to warm up meridians and remove obstructions from them, warm and nourish yang qi, warm the middle energizer to dispel cold and restore yang from collapse. Applied for cold syndromes. Retain needling method and Moxa if regular meridians become tight.in cases of coagulation warm blood and promote flow of qi.

Treat cold with heat Retain the needle for cold: a. Retain the needle longer b. slow manipulation of the needle Treat cold with Moxa
