Nose : bitong, li20, Yintang 
Tmj : st 6,7, si 19
Ear: sj20, 17, si 19
Shoulder: s.i9, li15, sj14, si 10,11
Knee: st36, st 35,gb34, liv 8, ki10
2. Tender points with 2 conditions:
Tender on meridians can be used as diagnostic points and are called acupoints.
Non acupoints- Ashi points, no diagnostic value but are very effective.

Definition: area far from disease location. Usually below knees and below elbows.
1. Points are picked from the affected meridian
2. Points picked from the exteriorly interiorly related meridian
3. Points based on syndrome diagnosis
4. Points from the meridian which shares the same name.
5. Points on the opposite side of:
Opposite to affected meridian
Opposite to tender points
6. Selection of balancing points
