Local point selection: 1.nearby Eyes: gb1, UB 1,2, st 1,2, yuyao, gb14 Nose : bitong, li20, Yintang Tmj : st 6,7, si 19 Ear: sj20, 17, si 19 Shoulder: s.i9, li15, sj14, si 10,11 Knee: st36, st 35,gb34, liv 8, ki10 2. Tender points with 2 conditions: Tender on meridians can be used as diagnostic points and are called acupoints. Non acupoints- Ashi points, no diagnostic value but are very effective.
