Progressive overload

A

Gradually increasing the amount of overload to improve fitness. You don’t want to drastically overload very fast as you can get injured. A weight lifter looking to improve their strength in the gym may lift 80kg for 10 reps in week 1. Then increase that weight to 82.5 in week 2.
