Physicist who found that waters pressure weakens when it passes through a tube that is curved. This led to the discovery of having curved wings on an airplane lets wind pressure to be lower as it passes over the top and pressure increases under the wing. Thus creating lift.

How does lift work?
A
wind flowing over the curved top of the wing will result in lower pressure. Meanwhile the pressure under the wing is high. wind flows faster over the top.
