  • Trigger Points
  • Decreased ROM
  • Muscle Spasms
  • Strains / Sprains
  • Edema Reduction
  • Lymphedema
  • Nerve Desensitization
  • Tendonitis
  • Tension Headaches
  • Adhesive Capsulitis (frozen shoulder)

STM: Contraindications

A
  • Rapidly worsening condition
  • Malignancy
  • Thrombus / Embolism / Aneurysm
  • Localized infection / fever
  • Spastic Paralysis
  • Hematomas
  • Severe Lacerations
  • Advanced Diabetes
  • Fibromyalgia (inflamed state)
  • New Scar / skin graft
  • Non-Union fracture
  • Site of active hemorrhage
  • Abdominal massage w/: pregnancy/hernia/appendicitis
