Patch
flat discoloration larger than 0.5cm
Papule
palpable lesion up to 0.5 cm in diameter
Plaque
palpable solid lesion more than 0.5cm in diameter
Nodule
usually round, solid lesion more than 0.5cm in diameter
Pustule
collection of leukocytes and free fluid that varies in size
Vesicle
collection of free fluid up to 0.5 cm in dameter
Bulla
collection of free fluid more than 0.5 cm in diameter
Tumor
elevated solid lesion larer than 2 cm
Cyst
encapsulated, expressible liquid or semisolid material in dermis or subcutaneous area
Wheel (Hive)
firm edematous papule or plaque, resultin gfrom infiltration of dermis with fluid

Macule

Patch
flat discoloration larger than 0.5 cm

Papule
- palpable lesion up to 0.5 cm in diameter

Plaque
- palpable solid lesion more than 0.5 cm in diameter

Nodule
- usually round, solid lesion more than 0.5 cm in diameter

Pustule
- collection of leukocytes & free fluid
- varies in size

Vesicle
- collection of free fluid
- up to 0.5 cm in diameter

Bulla
- collection of free fluid
- greater than 0.5 cm in diameter

Cyst
- encapsulated, expressible liquid or semisolid material in dermis subcutaneous region (Epidermal inclusion cyst)

Pilondial Cyst/ Abscess
- infected cyst at upper gluteal cleft above the anus/ coccyx.
- treat with surgical I&D or excision

Tumor
- elevated solid lesion larger than 2 cm
(Lipoma - benign adipose tissue tumor)

Wheal (Hive)
- a firm edematous papule or plaque resulting from infiltration of the dermis with fluid

junctional nevi
