  1. Oral Antihistamine (control itch)
  2. topical corticosteroid (put out the fire) *use carefully because baby’s skin is thinner than adults
  3. Topical Immune Modulator (Elidel, Protopic)
  4. Moisturizing cleansers, emollients, humidifier

  1. Topical Steroids
  2. Oral antihistamine
  3. Compression Stockings
  4. Systemic Corticosteroids
  5. Oral ABX
  6. Venous Ultrasounds

*R/o clot if one leg more swollen than the other

* Sugars can go up with oral steroid use, watch if pt diabetic

  1. Oral ABX (Tetracyclines, minocycline, doxycycline) - anti-inflammatory affect
  2. Topical Antibiotics (Clindamycin)

*Do not use Corticosteroids b/c they can make condition worse with long term use**
