Indications of PRR
A
- High caries risk, deep fissure patterns, stagnating plaque with evidence of enamel demineralization

Procedure
A
- Isolate tooth ideally with rubber dam but cotton wool roll and aspiration
- Occlusal fissures explored with slow speed bur in air-turbine handpiece
- Caries infected dentine removed
- Fine diamond bur to remove grossly unsupported enamel and lightly bevel margins
- 37% phosphoric acid etch gel 20secs (10secs eenamel then 10secs dentine)
- Gel washed off and gently air dried with 3in1 syringe
- DBA bond applied and light cure (470nm wavelength 20secs)
- Resin Composite in enamel shade placed into cavity no larger than 2mm increments and adapted using burnisher or flat plastic
- Light cured 20secs
- Remove rubber dam
- Occlusion checked with articulation paper and finished using polishing points and cups
