why is rapid expansion of dentinal lesions often seen
- no salivary buffering in deep lesions
- presence and disposition of dentinal tubules facilitates lesion
why are lesions triangular shaped in dentine with point towards pulp
because dentinal tubules are wider and closer together at the pulp (smaller and further apart at the EDJ)
