<10th centile

A
Normal just small
IUGR - pre eclampsia, multiple pregnancy, maternal smoking, idiopathic

How do you check if a baby is growth restricted?
A
Abdominal circumference < Head circumference

What are the problems caused by small baby?
A
Hypothermia
Hypoglycaemia
Hypocalcaemia
Polycythaemia (Venous haematocrit >0.65)
