Participation
Proved citizens with an avenue for participation between elections. Provided communication between elections.
Represntation
Enhance representation by articulating individual views
E.g life and the society for protection of unborn children for those who apposed abortion

Pressure groups are groups of like-minded individuals,who come together on the basis of shared interests or a commonly held cause in order to put pressure on MPs.
