What is a sectional pressure groups and its aim
Represent interest of a particular group in society. promote and protect the interests of its members
Causal pressure groups and their aim
focus on promoting a particular cause or issue such as environmental change. Their aim is typically to raise awareness, advocate for change, and influence public opinion or government policy regarding their chosen cause.
Insider groups and their aims
Have a special relationship with government and aims are often compatible with the governments.
What are Outsider groups and their aims
Not closely associated with government. They concentrate on mobilising public opinion
Explain insider methods
Seek to influence the government directly by having contact with politicians and decision makers . Methods are ‘quiet’ as they already have access to government.

They indirectly inform and persuade the public to support them, hoping this wild influence the government.
