what are varicose ulcers?
varicose ulcers are open, painful sores that typically form on the inside of the lower legs caused by inefficient return of blood to the heart from the leg veins.

physical examination, ankle-brachial test, the doppler study, CT scan
different methods of treatment of varicose ulcers
debridement (removal of debris from the area of the ulcer), compression therapy, pressotherapy (pumping system that consists of air chambers that inflate and deflate)
