What happens to oír and verbs with -aer and -eer endings in the past participle?

Verbs like “huir” with -uir ending do not undergo this special change. They conjugate like any regular verb in the past participle.

A

We add accents to their past participles!
oír=oído
-aer=aído
-eer=eído

What happens to verbs that are compounds of the irregular present perfect verbs when they are conjugated (we’re not talking about the ones that receive accents here fyi)?

A

They conjugate the way the irregular inside them does.

Describir=Descrito
Componer=Compuesto
Descubrir=Descubierto

What happens to the past participle verb components without haber?

A

They become adjectives!

La mesa rota=The BROKEN table!

note how there is no haber present in: la mesa rota
