What are the difference(s) between Schedule I and Schedule II drugs?
Schedule one has no medical use. They both have high abuse potential, high physical and psychological dependence risk
What is the difference(s) between a schedule II and a Schedule III?
Schedule III has only a moderate abuse potential and a moderate physiological dependence risk.
What is the difference between a schedule III and a schedule IV drug?
Schedule III has moderate abuse potential, moderate physiological risk of dependence and a high risk of psychological dependence.
Schedule IV has a low risk of: abuse potential, and physiologic and psychological risk of dependence.

They have medical usefulness, limited abuse potential, and the lowest risk of physiological and psychological dependence. Can be OTC in some states, but treated like schedule II-IV in Colorado
