Makes changes to optimise the development of the baby and reduce risks through nutrition, physical activity and social and spiritual connections.
Guidelines to follow?
- Avoid listeria bacteria
- Healthy balanced diet
- 2L of water a day
- 7-8 hrs of sleep
- Regular GP appointments
Social and spiritual connections?
- Attending classes to meet others (mothers groups etc)
- Child friendly social activities
- Practicing relaxation techniques (yoga etc)
CARERS
What is changing health behaviours?
- Eating a variety of fresh and healthy foods
- Engaging in physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle
Social and spiritual connections?
- Local support groups
- Meeting other carers
- Practicing relaxation techniques (meditation etc)
What is organising finances?
- Budgeting, saving and setting up support payments, essentially financially preparing for all possible situations e.g hospitalisation, equipment, clothing etc

What is modifying the physical environment?
