My answer was my interest in aviation came out 2 years ago when I came across videos on crosswind and hard landings on YouTube.
Watching these videos made me think ‘huh that’s how it’s done’ and piqued my interest
After watching more of similar videos I realised that I didn’t even know how a plane flies and started my education towards aviation with the 4 fundamental forces of flight which developed into a new found hobby of mine, especially during the Covid period.
At the beginning of 2023, I found myself spending most if not all my free time outside of work looking at aviation related material and decided to take a leap of faith towards becoming a pilot. After discussing with my loved ones pertaining to the financial implications, namely the lack of income and earning their support, I applied for the position and began to prepare.
Fast forward 3 months that brings me to where I am today
