Q

What was the Sacco and Vanzetti case?

A

In April 1920, a shoe factory was robbed with the robbers taking $16,000 and killing two members. A month later, Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested and charged with the murders. The reason why they were arrested was because they were both carrying firearms, but it was also because they were anarchists and police were biased about the situation. A biased judge then found them to be guilty and charged them to death because of the murders. For 6 years, Sacco and Vanzetti pleased not guilty and tried to get a retrial. Even after someone confessed to the murders, Sacco and Vanzetti were still killed on the electric chair in August 1927.
