A

All available information including:

  1. Weather reports and forecasts
  2. Fuel requirements
  3. Alternatives if the flight cannot be completed as planned
  4. known ATC delays
  5. Runway lenghts of intended use
  6. takeoff and landing distances

What are the fuel requirements for flight in IFR conditions?

A
  1. The aircraft myst carry enough fuel to the first airport of intended landing (including the approach), the alternate airport (if required), and thereafter, for 45 minutes at normal cruise power.
  2. If an altermate airport is not requied, enough fuel must be carried to fly to the destination airport and land with 45 minutes of fuel remaining.
