define predestination:
idea god is known or determines everything that will happen in the universe
but as muslims we believe humans still have free will as do christians.
predistanation hadith:
tie your camel and trust in allah:
shows us that we still have to do our bit and the rest we leave it in the hands of allah because he knows best and whats god for you as said
‘‘it might be that you like something which is bad for you and you dont like something which is good for you allah knows but you do not know-surah al baqarah
what is predestination also known as:
qadr

only what allah has decreed will happen to us. He is our master: let the believers put their trust in god surah 9

SUNNI=one of tehir 6 main beliefs is the supremacy of allah’s will
and thye beleive allah can determine everything tahts going to happen bc he is omnipotent-powerful will. still believ humans have free will and their own choices but more emphasis oin god whenever accomplished or something happened and his omniscience rather than humans
SHIA= supremacy of allah’s will not theirs but tawhid is. believe god knows everything thats going to happen but doesnt mean he decided what going to happen. People have free wills so make their own choices.
however good things come from allah bad things come from humans free will - own soul
allah knows whatever harships a person faces they can cope bc in the quran itr says allah does not burden a soul more than they can bear and after the hardship comes ease. ‘‘misforturned can only happen with gods permission.
what allah is and doesnt do -predestiantion:
hes in total control over events knows everything thtas going to happen
bc he is transcdendent- beyond time and space not limited by time or space or anything
BUT
he does not decide wat will happen
humans have free will/repsonsible for htheir choices
judged by allah based on those choices,
